Return of the Champions

I just received the copy of Return of the Champions on CD today. I bought it off Ebay after the Queen concert. The show was so cool, I thought I'd get the live CD. The songs on the CD are the same as the ones at the show with two notable exceptions: a Paul Rodgers song called "Wishing Well", and one of my all time favorite Queen songs, I Want To Break Free. I was hoping they'd do the song and was a little disappointed, but not much.

For those that have not seen the video for this song, it is a must. The band dresses up in drag and mocks a popular British soap (can't remember the name). Below is a picture of the band from the video.

Let me tell you, Roger Taylor looks totally hot as a school girl. Who knew he was such a babe? And watching Freddie push around a vacuum in a mini-skirt and high heals is a scream.

The CD is going in my car tomorrow morning. I'll let everyone know how it is. I heard a few songs off of it in the parking lot before the Queen show, so I know it's pretty good. In the mean time, enjoy!

I Want to Break Free

Words and music by john deacon

I want to break free
I want to break free
I want to break free from your lies
You’re so self satisfied I don’t need you
I’ve got to break free
God knows God knows I want to break free

I’ve fallen in love
I’ve fallen in love for the first time
And this time I know it’s for real
I’ve fallen in love yeah
God knows God knows I’ve fallen in love

It’s strange but it’s true
I can’t get over the way you love me like you do
But I have to be sure
When I walk out that door
Oh how I want to be free baby
Oh how I want to be free
Oh how I want to break free

But life still goes on
I can’t get used to living without living without
Living without you by my side
I don’t want to live alone hey
God knows got to make it on my own
So baby can’t you see
I’ve got to break free
