Kids say the darndest things
I don't have much time to write today so a quick little story from yesterday.
I dropped the kids off at day care in the morning and my younger son (6) says, "Dad, I wish it was Saturday." I asked him why. He replies, "so I can be with you and mom all day."
Such a nice feel good moment when you kid say something like that out of the blue. Of course, when he's 16 I'm sure he won't be able to leave the house fast enough to get as far from us as possible. However, I'll enjoy the adulation now while I can.
