On being Christian

You guys missed a great soul searching post which I accidentally deleted. Man, it was deep.
Ok, maybe it wasn't. But that was annoying. So I'll just pose a basic question and let you weigh in.
How does a manager balance being a Christian/Catholic witness and yet reconcile that with the day to day issues of managing people with the miriad number of issues that can present?
Nothing to do with me directly, but there's been a lot of stuff going on and it makes me wonder.
