I saw this person on the cover of Guitar Player magazine. The article raved at what a great guitarist Orianthi was, so I was intrigured. I checked out her website and all I can say is HOLY COW! What a phenominal artist! She plays and sings! Check out the below videos. She holds her own with Steve Vai and has great songwriting skills. Songs have a good hook and she's got a bluesy voice. I'm getting her CD stat and I highly recommend you do so as well. Enjoy!

She was on American Idol the other night. Apparently she was going to be touring with Michael Jackson and had just passed the audition (she said she was very nervous for that audition). She must be the one in the last Michael Jackson practice footage.

If you haven't seen "This is It", I highly recommend you rent it. She's in it and she is amazing. Simply amazing. All the artists that were going to tour with MJ were amazing, but she really stood out.
